Belly bulge

The search has begun. Now that we're quickly approaching the second trimester ( yay! only 1.5 weeks left!) my thoughts have turned to my waredrobe. Rather then buying maternity when my other clothes no longer fit, and dropping hundreds of dollars at once, I'm trying to buy slowly and on sale :) So what I'm asking you is, where do I look for cute maternity that's not going to cost 40 bucks for a T-shirt? Come on Ladies, spill the beans!

Old Navy and Target both have really cute maternity clothes that are not too much $$$.

Motherhood has great sales and downeast shirts come in XXL. I say don't try and go to skimpy on your wardrobe you are already going to be feeling pretty different about your expanding waistline and you will be surprised what a new shirt can do for a preggo Mommy! Plus I am pretty sure this isn't your last kid so you will use your clothes again if you drop the money on stuff that will last.

I have found maternity pretty much everywhere I shop. ( I don't shop at the mall that often...) you can go to the bigger department stores and they have motherhood brands etc. that you can return!-which is always a plus! If you buy clothes or certain clothes at motherhood maternity stores, they won't take some back. just fyi. good to know. I have also found good cheap maternity clothes from friends, (which I do have a few I am getting rid of, that might fit you) Kid to Kid, DI, second hand stores.-Maternity clothes are different because they don't wear out often, because your only wearing them for a short amount of time. OH and for pants. When I was preggo with lily, I went to Burlington coat factory (good place for mat. clothes) and bought all the different pants styles you could think of. DONT BUY THE HALF PANEL PANTS! Full panel are nice when your smaller, but as your belly grows, they only come up to your belly button which cuts the stomach in half, at least in my experience. I like the low stretch panel that isn't really much. OR and I love these tops, you can go to the Motherhood Maternity stores (dept. store) and they have this new stretch material that is WONDERFUL! it stretches all the way up to my bra, so I tuck it in (yay no worring about picking up my pants or adjusting them all day! and the pants them selves are wonderful too. its not tight around the waist (hip area) which will be very uncomfortable in the next few months anyway. Oh and question... I bought mat. G's for the first time and I bought the one top that was tall to try it out and it came to the bottom of my butt-your taller than I am do you want it? at least to try it out. the Mat. clothes I have to get rid of, I got from a friend and their a little small in the bust areas. and there's a pair of pants too. Good luck shopping! Don't let Adam give you a hard time, I agree with the Jensen's. its amazing what new clothes can do for your apperance, self esteem and all that! Congrats!
